As the water taxi approaches Biras Creek, your eyes will be drawn to the circular stone building on a hilltop at center stage. Looking like a Crusader castle, this peak-roofed building houses the resort’s open-sided restaurant. Food here is considered exceptional, as is the restaurant’s wine list. Asmall resort, Biras Creek sits on a strip of land between two hills on a peninsula. It is touched by three distinct bodies of water: North Sound Lagoon, the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. Atraditional West Indian Hotel, Fischer’s Cove is on the island’s southwestern coast. You can walk into Spanish Town from here and the hotel has its own beach. There are eight freestanding cottages for rent – six are one-bedroom studios, while the other two have two bedrooms. Triangular in shape and comfortably, if basically, furnished, they have private showers, ceiling fans and kitchenettes with microwaves and coffeemakers. Daily maid service is included. There are 12 guest rooms in the bi-level main house. The garden-view rooms are air-conditioned and have cable TV.

There are one-bedroom or two-bedroom units. All have fully furnished kitchens, a living room/dining area and furnished sun decks. There is an on-site commissary.
