The Alaska House Art Gallery focuses on showcasing the arts and crafts of local Alaskan Natives, including sculptures, masks, carvings, and much more. The gallery is located just east of Weeks Field, near Myrtle Thomas Park. The building which houses the gallery is a hand-built log cabin first constructed in 1939 and still holds an endearing charm for those who visit.
