Landeck sits 30 km east of St. Anton, on the way to Innsbruck. On a hill above the town perches Schloss Landeck, a 13th-century fortress that today houses the local museum. Inside the castle is a good collection of costumes and art and a cultural center that mounts a variety of events and exhibitions. Stop by between mid-May and the end of September, Tuesday through Sunday, 10 am-5 pm, Euro 3.70.
