Turn left onto the main street leading to the beach, then left again and 20 meters/66 feet along the shore find Tambor Tropical (restaurant, breakfast included), a beachside B&B that says tropical luxury in every way. Its modern twostory hexangular casitas are made of highly polished hardwood and huge sliding glass windows facing the shore.
Upstairs rooms have skylights and wrap-around verandas, while those downstairs open onto garden patios. The grounds are beautifully manicured and incorporate a free-form pool in the center. The dark gray beach is lined with palm trees. Tours and activities available, but no children under 16.
