This old-fashioned Paris hotel set in a 17th-century building has 22 rooms with exposed wooden beams, antique furniture and floral printed wallpaper. Private bathrooms have either a bathtub or shower, and a hair dryer. There’s no elevator and the rooms can be tiny (ask for 8, 11, 13 or 18 for more space), but there’s satellite TV, in room safes, and breakfast is included in the price. The location alone, on a quiet side-street between St-Germain-des-Prés and the Latin Quarter, is enough to woo fans of historic Paris.
