This elegant and spacious hotel is on a side-street between the Opéra Garnier and the Boulevard Haussmann department stores. It has an Empire- style lobby and lounge with stained glass ceilings, marble pillars, and comfortable armchairs for relaxing with an afternoon coffee or complementary newspapers. The 59 air conditioned rooms are decorated in Louis XV-style with minibar, in-room safe, direct-dial phone with voicemail and modem jack, tiled bathroom with hair dryer, and satellite TV. The hotel has an elevator and Internet station in the lobby. Strangely, the web site still has rates posted in Francs.
