which has set a range of registered prices with the Les Saintes Maries de la Mer tourist office. An hour’s horse rental should cost between euro 14 and euro 16. A full day out will cost between euro 55 and euro 80 and starts at 9:30 am. A.C.T.E. suggests a standard day out that includes a ride across the interior of the Camargue, taking in étangs, rice paddies, and so forth; a crossing of the Petit Rhône on the Bac du Sauvage, and then a ride along a pine-bordered beach. A supplement is charged for a picnic or barbecue on the beach. Multiple-day treks with A.C.T.E.embers cost from euro 80 to euro 115 per day depending on the standard of accommodation and meals.
