The circuit stretches from Cavaillon, on the plains, via Apt, to the steep, hilly terrain around Forcalquier on the north. Its southern reach also goes from Cavaillon to Forcalquier, this time passing through Lourmarin and Manosque. In all, there are 230 km/143 miles of trail, all of it marked, maintained and easy to follow. Most of the route travels over dedicated off-road cycle paths or quiet roads. Between Cavaillon and Apt, a disused railway line has been turned into the cycle path. Signs at every village on the route provide information about accommodation, services, sites and local itineraries. Map: IGN 1/60,000 tourist map, Parc naturel régional du Lubéron. Brochure: Le Lubéron en vélo, Tour du Lubéron – practical information about the circuit and facilities. Available from the Parc du Lubéron and from regional tourist offices.
