14 rooms with private baths, telephones and CD radio alarm clocks. Terrace, pool, gardens and protected parking. Open March 15 to November 10 – half board for two people. More than a hotel, this mas, about three miles from L’Isle sur la Sorgue, is like a rustic home and reflects the multicultural passions of its owner. Thierry Crovara, a Moroccan- born Swiss citizen with French and Italian ancestors, is an accomplished and trained cook as well as a passionate golfer. The mas offers cooking classes and golf packages. Room décor is basic but typically colorful. The public rooms are gorgeous, with lush decoration in the local style. The mas is good value when you consider that rates, starting at i129 per night, include breakfast and dinner for two.
