The Haus Wahnfried Wagner Museumis in the only house Wagner ever owned. Only the façade survived World War II but the rest was meticulously restored. The museum is dedicated to the life and work ofWagner as well as the history of the Festspiele. Cherished possessions include original scripts of several operas and instruments used by Wagner. Richard and CosimaWagner are buried in the garden. Music is played at 10 am, noon, and 2 pm; a video is played at 11 am and 3 pm. From November to March, opening hours are daily, 10 am to 5 pm.
