Located inside the forest and within easy walking distance of the palace and all other local sights. It dates from 1770 and was originally a gamekeeper house for the royal forest, but converted into a hotel in the 1990s. Some walls have hunting trophies and the original leather wall coverings. The rooms are comfortably furnished with stylish furniture. The restaurant offers local cuisine, including venison, fowl, and Saxon wine.
