Weimar is a good place to buy German literature. The town breathes literature and classical works are available from many bookshops as well as most museum shops. Classical works in paperback are surprisingly cheap but prices rise fast as soon as photographs and color are added. Stiftung Weimarer Klassik has a vast selection of books and other paraphernalia associated with theWeimar Classicists.
