Lucignano’s art and history is documented on the walls of the nearby Museo Comunale. It houses a collection of 13thto 16th-century paintings (including works by Bartolo di Fredi, Lippo Vanni, Luca Signorelli) and a grand gold and silver tree-shaped reliquary known as the Golden Tree of Lucignano, the crowning glory of 14th- to 15th-century Sienese and Florentine goldsmiths.
