Casa Natale di Tiziano (Via Arsenale, Pieve di Cadore, open summer only, Tue-Sun). Not far from Pieve di Cadore’s main piazza sits the 15th-century house where Renaissance painter Tiziano Vecellio lived with his noble family for many years. Titian studied drawing and painting before being sent to stay with relatives in Venice where he became a student of Giorgione and left a tremendous impact on the city of art. The great painter died in Venice in 1576.
