In the small town of Due Carrare (formed by joining Carrara S. Giorgio and Carrara S. Stefano) a medieval castle that in the 18th century was transformed into the villa of the Zaborra family, today hosts a unique museum dedicated to the history of flight. On a guided tour, visitors can see models of planes, hot air balloons, uniforms, engines and other flight-related objects, watch a film highlighting 20th-century flight and tour the surrounding gardens.
