The Euganean Hills are a prime production zone for 13 DOC (Denomination of Controlled Origin) wines, including Cabernet Franc, Fior d’Arancio, Moscato, Novello, and Serprino. The Strada dei Colli Euganei (the Euganean Wine Road) leads through the Euganean Hills’ small towns, where there are numerous places to taste and purchase locally produced wines, sample characteristic local cuisine and find charming accommodations. Stop by a tourist information office for a complete list of wineries, farms and restaurants along the route.
