Spend an hour discovering the delta’s varied flora and fauna at the Oasi di Ca’ Mello, a 10-minute car ride from Ca’ Tiepolo on the Po Delta’s Isola della Donzella (just north of the Sacca degli Scardovari). The volpoca (shelduck) and rondine (swallow) make their home here and the rich flora includes the prugnolo (blackthorn) and sambuco (elder tree).
