Old sketches and photos cover the walls of this informal (not inexpensive) bacaro/osteria. This is a popular stop for an ombra and cicheti (wine and fingerfoods), but their selection of well-prepared Venetian dishes like sarde en saor (sardines in sweet and sour sauce) keep the tables full at lunchtime. Remember to bring enough euros to pay for your meal since credit cards are not accepted here.
