Café di Fiorre in El Born had an intellectual crowd, deep, comfortable lounge chairs, good beats and a trendy, modern décor complementing ancient stone archways and walls. Then it was abruptly closed down for renovations in peak season and what will become of it remains to be seen. If it is an improvement on the old, don’t hesitate to stop by and have an iced coffee and a crisp green salad with tomatoes, tuna, mozarella, hardboiled eggs and asparagus.
