Museu d`Història dels Jueus a Catalunya, or Museum of the History of Jews, at Força 8 in Girona, has exhibits on the Catalan Jewish culture through the ages. The museum is also revitalizing the old Jewish call, or quarter. Open June through October, Mondays to Saturdays from 10 am to 8 pm and Sundays 10 am to 3 pm, from November through May on Mondays through Saturdays 10 am to 6 pm and Sundays 10 am to 3 pm. Entry costs i2 for adults, and i1.50 for children and seniors.
The Ciutadella is a medieval fortification dating back to the 1500s. Inside, archeologists have unearthed relics from the Greek occupation of the 700s BC and from Roman times dating back to the second century BC.
