The average skier will find more opportunities (hence slopes) at Valdesqui than at the neighboring Navacerrada ski resort. Of its 30 or so runs, the majority are either gentle greens or blues, with a few bumpier red runs down the face of a mostly treeless bowl. As it is a little off the beaten path, Valdesqui tends to see fewer skiers but can just as easily get crowded on snowy weekends. When it isn’t snowing, the slopes brown out quickly and the resort has no snow-making abilities to combat it – best to check for conditions beforehand.
