The island of Frösön, where the airport is located, has something to offer for everyone, including several of Östersund’s attractions, such as the Frösö Zoo and the Östersund-Frösö Golf course. For those seeking a real challenge, there is the Adventure Course, where you can test your skills and balance on the aerial ropeway, trapeze and climbing a wall, among other activities. The Adventure Course is only open in the summer.
