Comsaed River Kwai Resort If you don’t mind being 19 kilometers out of town, then this award-winning resort is the place to stay. The 91-room complex offers a range of accommodation with luxury rooms, suites or one- or two-bedroom villas, all with views of the River Kwai. The villas have fully equipped kitchens if you want to cook for yourself, and there is an excellent restaurant. Opened in 1994, the Comsaed has a good spa and is set in very pleasant gardens. This is luxury in the countryside within a 20-minute drive to downtown.
