Raymond Vineyard and Cellar was founded in 1974 by the Raymond family, who have been involved in winemaking in the Napa Valley since the 1870s, and are in fact directly related to the Beringer family of Beringer Vineyards. The winery itself is housed in a relatively new, frame structure, built in 1978. It produces premium vintage-dated varietal wines from its 80-acre vineyard located in the valley, as well as from its 250-acre vineyard in south Napa County and its 300 acres, planted to Chardonnay, in Monterey County. Offerings include Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot. Wine tasting and sales 10am-4pm daily; tours by appointment. Tasting fee: $5.00-$10.00.
