This miniature train is built to one-fifth scale and offers leisurely rides around Balboa Park. But this is not just local entertainment. Over five million people have participated in the locomotive excitement since 1948. Holding 48 people in a single trip, the locomotive takes you on a three-minute journey through the Park. The route is one-half mile long and covers four acres.
