You don't need to spend a lot of money to stay in a neat clean hotel that's very close to what you want to see and do in San Diego! The Dolphin Motel is located in one of the wealthiest sections of San Diego and has been family owned and operated for over 29yrs. We are 1 1/2 miles or 5 min from San Diego Airport (out of the flight path), and 4 miles or 12 min to Downtown, Broadway and the Gaslamp District. We are located just 200 feet from San Diego Bay and ARE NOT on a busy street. Our location is excellent!!! We offer a much better value for the price conscious traveler who just needs a clean room and great location. We are surrounded by much pricier, franchise/chain hotels, (Ramada, Vagabond, Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn, etc) We hope that you will compare our establishment to theirs for value. Our room rates are usually 40% to 80% less! We have two buildings, one of which is entirely non-smoking with FREE DSL and Wi-Fi service. We also offer an early check-in policy at our 24 hour desk, based on availability. Most of our business comes from repeat customers, tourist, and business people from around the world, who originally stayed at those overpriced chain hotels, but discovered our Motel as a walk in. All our rooms have 5 Star Diamond Serta beds covered in excellent quality white linen, including WHITE BEDSPREADS ! The Other Hotels????? We are very proud of our excellent customer service. We take good care of our employees, one whom has been with us for over 15yrs and another over 30yrs. They will take great care of you.
