The Radisson Suite Hotel Rancho Bernardo is located north of the city center, in a suburban office park. Whilst it's a 30 minute drive from the city by car, it is close to area attractions such as wineries and not far from the ocean. The hotel offers clean, comfortable rooms with the added bonus of a living area with a sofa and microwave, and a tv that can spin to face the sofa or the sleeping area. Windows can be opened, to allow the fresh air in. Some rooms are noisier near the pool or the restaurant, but on the whole this is a very quiet, peaceful place to stay. The complimentary breakfast offers fruit, cereal, muffins and hot items. What's particularly nice about this hotel is that you're able to relax and enjoy your breakfast in peace without being rushed to finish by the official close time of 9.30 am, which was much appreciated.
