Discover the EcoTarium, a unique indoor/outdoor museum dedicated to exploring science and nature. Set in an urban oasis in the city of Worcester, the EcoTarium offers a chance to walk through the treetops and see the forest from a new perspective, learn about the night sky in the planetarium, even peer at the tiniest creatures through powerful microscopes.
You’ll meet the creatures of New England’s forests and wetlands (and Worcester’s “native” polar bear), learn about the landscape as you stroll along easy trails, and find out what you can do to protect our natural resources. EcoTarium offers special events, exhibits, and programming year-round, from behind-the-scenes animal care programs for kids and an annual Earth Day Festival to a summer jazz series.
