Built in 1902, this Tudor style summer home was one of the "Berkshire Cottages" of that era. Purchased by the Fitzpatrick family in the early 1980's and completely restored, Blantyre grew from its early days as a bed and breakfast to one of the finest hotels in North America, and is a member of the renowned Relais & Chateaux Association since 1984. Blantyre's proximity to cultural festivals, such as Tanglewood (summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra) and Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, summer theatres and others allows guests to experience world-class performances in a traditional New England country setting. Guest Services- Cheese and fruit tray on arrival in guest rooms, fresh flowers in each accommodation, twice-daily maid service, 24 hour room service, Kiehl's bathroom amenities and daily newspaper. rides on Sunday mornings.
