We're five minutes away from hiking, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing opportunities in the Beaverhead-Deer Lodge National Forest. The Big Hole River is within walking distance and mountain lakes and beaver ponds each offer their own fishing experiences. Enjoy cycling, hiking or four-wheeling to explore our mining and homesteading history. Like photography? Choose from ranch scenes, wildlife and wildflowers, or historical sites. The Sportsman Motel is a log building with knotty pine interiors. Regular rooms include two double beds, private bath, and dish TV which are $61.00 per night. Kitchenettes have fully-equipped kitchens and rent for $75.00. Completely furnished one-bedroom cabins with kitchen/living room and private bath are $96.00 nightly. Guests are invited to use the motel's sheltered grill free of charge. We supply the propane, you supply the fish. Or if elk steak is your preference, you'll appreciate the on-site game gambrels.Family reunions and group get-togethers are welcome; the entire motel complex can be reserved. The RV Park has full-service (30 amp) hook-ups with ample space for larger RVs at $19.00. Tent sites are available for $12.00. Four people can enjoy a night in our Sioux-style tipi for $12.00. The RV Park also has bathrooms, showers, and laundry facilities. The Caddis Lodge which accommodates four to six people may also be rented through the Sportsman. A furnished two-bedroom contemporary log home, situated on six acres of meadowland with Big Hole River frontage, offers great privacy and great fishing. A three-night minimum stay is requested; $250.00 per night.
