Chapelle de St. Sixte is a 12th-century saint’s chapel and hermitage. It is open only on the saint’s day and Easter but, if you visit on a Saturday, you may be lucky enough to see a local wedding party posing for photographs. With several outstanding restaurants, comfortable small hotels and a bar-tabac that is basic but très typique, Eygalières makes an excellent stop on a cycling circuit in the area.
