If you want to opt for glamor and independence at the same time, the Villa Franz Lehar in the center of Saint Raphaël offers both at per-night prices that compete with moderately priced hotel accommodations.
This is a new development of seven furnished apartments, finished to a very high standard and equipped with everything you’d expect to find in a luxury apartment – dishwashers, microwaves, washing machines, DVD players, private parking. The apartments have deep, shaded terraces, bright white kitchens and to-die-for sea views.
The building’s wrap-around balconies suggest an ocean liner and give it a retro, 1930s look. If you’re prepared to rent for a month in the off-season, the price drops away to almost nothing: € 500-600 for 30 days from January to mid-May and from mid-September to the end of December.
