At one time, Uzès was a center for licorice-making.Candy-makers Haribo-Riqclès-Zan (a popular mass-market brand in Europe), are still active in the town and if you are on a family holiday – or have a sweet tooth – you might want to visit their museum, Le Musée du Bonbon, at Pont des Charrettes.
