A 12th-century convent 12 km/7½ miles from the village on the Route de Grimaud, is an imposing and curious compound that makes a worthwhile destination for a hiking or cycling circuit from Collobrières. Founded in 1170, it was sacked and abandoned after the French Revolution. It is currently being restored by the small community of Sisters of Bethlehem who live there. Look for arches and portals in serpentine, a distinctive local stone flashed with blue-green crystals. Open from 11 am to 6 pm in summer and until 5 pm in winter.
