For pizza, pasta and a good-value menu. And we’ve had good reports. This is where the French take their family holidays so family- style restaurants abound. Very few will make the gourmet guidebooks but your average, run-of-the-mill restaurant around here offers good quality regional cooking at a fair price. This is also the area to start looking for North African influences. Couscous was recently named the most popular foreign food in France and Moroccan touches in presentation and spices have made it onto the menu of the most traditional restaurants.
