The Kunst- und Ausstellungshalle der Bundesrepublik Deutschland (Art and Exhibition Hall of the Federal Republic of Germany) which for obvious reasons is usually shortened to just Bundeskunsthalle (Federal Art Space), is a huge modern exhibition space, approximately 5600 square meters, that can be used simultaneously for up to five temporary exhibitions.

The institution has no permanent collection, but hosts rotating world-class exhibitions of artworks and cultural objects from around the world. Admission fees depend on the specific exhibition, but a recent Mexican exhibition here charged 30% less than the same one cost in Berlin and less than 50% of the price in London.

Furthermore, two adults with a child qualify for a family ticket that costs less than two adults alone! Opening hours are Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 am to 9 pmand Thursday to Sunday from 10 am to 7 pm. Admission is € 7 per day, € 9.50 for two consecutive days, and € 10.50 for a family ticket. A combination ticket with the Kunstmuseum is available for € 10.50.
