The Münsterbasilika is a lovely example of Rhineland Romanesque withsome Gothic additions blending in harmoniously. It was built mostly in the 11th century, although much of the interior is Baroque or 19th century. The 11th-century Romanesque cloister is one of the best-preserved examples in Germany from this period.

Opening hours are daily for the church from 7 am to 7 pm and for the cloister from 9:30 am to 5:50 pm.
