Above the Citadel, on Fekete-hegy (Black Mountain). Part of the well-known Danubius chain, it offers full traveler’s services and activities, from summer bobsled to horseback riding. All the amenities, beauty treatments, baths, and various medicinal skin and body therapies seem even better while you sip Tokai wine and watch the sun set on the Danube from your terrace. Both the individual rooms and the terrace restaurant have postcard views. The swimming pool is enclosed with glass walls, allowing you to feel the glory of the area while you soothe your muscles in the warm water. Medicinal thermal pools, one of 90° and one of 106°F, rise from a natural spring 3,900 feet below the earth. The hotel offers wellness stays and medical staff as well. The rates are actually quite inexpensive, considering the ambience and amenities. Babysitting services, pool, sauna, excellent restaurant, and good-quality rooms are enhanced by the marvelous location.
