Sightseeing in Frankfurt
Frankfurt's principal visitor attractions are concentrated in the old town center, with several museums in Sachsenhausen on the opposite bank of the river Main. The surrounding Neustadt has some draws too, while most of the city's skyscrapers are in the Bankerviertel, the bank district, but are best seen from a distance, particularly the river banks. And if one must be selective, the pick of the bunch here are Römer and the Kaiserdom, the Städel Art Museum, and the view of the city's skyline from the Eiserner Steg, a pedestrian bridge in the historic section of Sachsenhausen.
