Jesolo
Jesolo is easily the most established of Veneto's seaside resort towns. It is an ancient Roman town whose tourism dates back at least as far as the 1800s. There is a fabulous 15-km beach here, known as "Lido di Jesolo," in addition to which Jesolo offers perhaps the most extensive selection of accommodations, restaurants, and sports and leisure facilities.
Jesolo is situated on the Adriatic Sea, north of Venice, between Eraclea and Cavallino-Treporti. It has a resident population of 25,000 and is visited by nearly 5 million tourists each year.
