They`ve left their "romantic" atmosphere in Buckhead for a new intown/urban warehouse atmophere that still works with the amibitious and compelling California Nouvelle menu that changes daily. Best known for smoked trout amusée, this is a fine dining restaurant. The restaurant focuses its culinary talents on contemporary European dishes. Expect the average entrée to cost over $50, and dress casual, but fashionable. Atmosphere: The establishment has an authentic and elegant décor. The interior is enhanced by displayed artwork, and the lighting is set quite dim. Exposed brick is a striking feature at this restaurant. With seating for 55 people, the restaurant is romantic and calm and frequented by an upscale crowd. More Reasons to Go: Bacchanalia is appropriate (if not ideal) for impressing clients, anniversaries and other romantic evenings. Eating & Drinking: Open for dinner. The menu here at Bacchanalia stays interesting and creative with daily changes that maintain style, variety and freshness based on availability and the time of year. Some of the more popular menu items include: asparagus with truffled morels, sake halibut glazed with Japanese barbecue sauce, black grouper sashimi in yuzu oil and cilantro.
